Sunrise... 09-14-07

This is where I am at today

This morning, We woke up early, and went outside to see the sunrise. Normally, the sunrise turns our bedroom golden and orange and we wake up to the glowing ball of fire shining in our eyes.. But this time, we were ready for him. Here are some shots I took. I hope you enjoy them.

I know, that What I am feeling is bittersweet this morning. I know that life is precious. When you know someone that makes their transition to the other side... even if it doesn't affect you directly, it always touches your heart tenderly. I am so grateful to have the experience of Love, of Children, of my Man. Of Connections, Of Heart Family. Of my learned lessons. And for Today.

This blog is in honor of my Sister Dara, Who is one of the most amazing women I know. And her best friend Molly, Who has made her transition and will be living on in dozens of people through her family's generous donation.

"For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun? And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."
Khalil Gibran
